JMHS Indoor Track Team - 2023-24 Season Information:

paper work due by 10/25.  (Google form (see below) plus a current school year physical and r-school registration)
so those that did a fall sport only need to do the google form.
 

Winter Track Tryouts
We may have a couple of intro days the week on 11/6
11/6 turn in any late paperwork
other days TBA based on the weather and coaches availability
 

Start everyday required practices on November 13th  (Monday)  on the track.  330-5pm

practice is every day.  Expectation is to come out late with a note if working with a teacher and get the workout in before you leave.

We will get the schedule updated ASAP:

Join the google email group  by sending an email to: madisonwarhawks+SUBSCRIBE@googlegroups.com We use this so anyone on the team can share information/pictures/results/requests for carpool/etc.   Note: (you can't join with an fcpsschools.net ; account, but parents can join if they have a fcps.edu account)

Practice is everyday at 330pm. We will meet at the track.  Practice will end in the 5-515 range.
If you need to miss practice for a doctor's appointment. do three things
1-try to schedule it for right after school or as late as possible, so you can still get the workout in before leaving -or come late after the appointment
2-communicate in advance about #1 or if you need to miss the whole practice get the workout in advance 
3- bring a note from the doctor appointment the next time we see you.

You can't miss for other sports/music lessons/homework/or other things.  See Coach Chasse about anything else you might need to miss for.  Plan ahead and one time exceptions can be made. 
If you do not communicate in advance then it is like a cut practice.  3 cut practices is cause for dismissal from the team.
 

Reminders:

Wear layers and no pants = no practice = go home and get them    

bring a water bottle every day!
